Ingredients
For the Ham

1 Fertile Acreage Smoked Half Ham
-
1 cup water
-
1 cup pineapple juice
For the Glaze
-
1 lb of raspberry chipotle bacon
-
2 Tbsp Better Than Bouillon Ham Base
-
2 cups brown sugar
-
½ cup pineapple juice
Directions
Make the Glaze
Dice bacon and brown in a frying pan on the stove over medium heat.
Add pineapple juice, ham base, and brown sugar to pan and stir in with bacon bits.
Simmer for 5 minutes, and slowly stir the contents of the pan.
Remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
Baste or slowly pour over the ham.
Bake the Ham
Preheat the oven to 325° F. Place the ham on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of pineapple juice to the bottom of the roasting pan.
Tent tin foil over the ham and firmly seal it around the pan to keep moisture in.
Bake the ham until internal temperature reaches 150° F.
