How To: Grass-Fed Beef Hamburgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef

  • 1 egg
  • Preferred burger seasoning (such as salt, pepper, garlic powder)

  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. Form into 3 or 4 equal-sized balls.

  2. Flatten slightly. Don’t pound into a thin patty.

  3. When grilling burgers, heat grill to 400°F, the ideal burger cooking temperature.

  4. Flip burgers and cook for 1 min.

  5. Using a spatula, flatten burgers to desired thickness, and cook 2-3 more minutes.

  6. If adding cheese, turn off the grill, add the cheese, close the grill and cook for an additional 30-45 seconds.

  7. Serve on a hamburger bun with your favorite toppings.
